School Auction Blog

Everything about school auctions

We have always had a basket auction at our school, but the parents are losing interest in donating to it & helping with it. What are some ideas that have been successful for you other PTA folks, other than selling stuff. (We already do a lot of that!).
The food thing is great, but we cannot have anything home-made. Do you think this would work with store-bought stuff as well?

This site has a lot of unique fundraising ideas:

There is also a list of suggestions for elementary school fundraisers:

Hope this helps!

well, knowing society today, we base most of our lives on food, so i sudgest a bake sale, our school had one, ad in one lunch time we made over $1500, and our school is only 600 people, it all depends if the students have lunch money

  3. Nancy Said,

Another elementary school fundraising option is the program with Adopt-A-Classroom. This is a nonprofit organization that has developed tools for any school in the US to engage their communities in order to raise funds for teachers to purchase classroom materials. Teachers can register at http://www.AdoptAClassroom.org to access the tools available and start raising money today.
