I am running an auction for my kids’ school and am looking for prize donations. We will have anything from furniture to airline tickets to ipods and other electronics.
Do you know of any company that gives donations of products?
Thanks

how should i dress up my two guy Friends in an embarrassing way for senior buddy auction day?
i just bought two of my guys friends for senior buddy auction day at school and i need some good ideas to embaress them any ideas?
what ever their style just do the exact opposite also you can never go wrong with classics giligan and the skipper, beavis and butthead, just be creative and have fun.
My club at college is going to adopt a school in Tibet and fund the building and school supplies. I am in charge of fundraising, but I really don’t have any experience in that area. I’ve done some fundraising for soccer teams but for the school we need A Lot more money then those fundraisers brought in.
Does anyone have any success stories of how they raised money? I was thinking of having an auction as a start and I’m looking into having a dinner fundraiser on a boat (we’re right by the coast) but I’m not sure how to carry these out.
I’m not looking for easy answers, just someone to point me in the right direction. Building this school is really important to me and I don’t want to let people down.
Thanks!
What about this? Ultimate Choice Travel puts Carnival Cruise Fundraiser together and Carnival provides the marketing materials.
All you guys do is get people in your community to attend the cruise- they get a vacation AND its for a good cause so a portion of their ticket is tax deductible!
This sounds like something you all would have a lot of success with-let me know if you want more info…
Your other ideas are good, too, btw- it is just a matter of doing all the legwork to make phone calls and stuff, but if you have a Carnival ship that docks in your area this would be a great fundraiser because all YOU have to do is get people to go- like announce it at other functions and stuff…
…and I won two people, a 17 yr old guy and a 17 yr old girl. What can I get them to do for me for the day?
Bad Things.
*evil laugh*
I am currently on the grad council of my high school and we need to raise money for the month of December. So far, we have:
-an elf auction
-a bake sale
-face painting
However all of these ideas are far too common in our (small) school. Any other ideas?
How about holding a babysitting Saturday. Do you have a place or maybe the school would let you baby sit there for a Saturday and advertise it so that parents would have a safe and fun place to leave their kids while they go Christmas shopping. You could show some holiday DVDs, have some snacks and if some one or two are crafty do some crafts with the kids. Just set your hours and price per kid and have at it. You should have a lot of business just make sure that you have lots of helpers! My nieces class did this and made lots of money in one day.
