SWIZZ BEATZ hosts Charity Auction for the Bronx Charter School for the Arts

Grammy Award Winning Artist and Producer Swizz Beatz Partnered with Bronx Charter School for the Arts for a Successful Night of Fundraising and Entertainment at New York’s 1OAK.
Swizz Beatz and Bronx Charter School for the Arts held its third annual art auction event at New York’s 1OAK. The
evening brought out numerous VIPs, notables and celebrities, including actress Tika Sumpter (Gossip Girl, The Game), Renee Graziano of VH1′s Mob Wives, Ali (A Tribe Called Quest), recording artist Shontelle, Pilar Sanders and many others who supported the event and helped raise over $100,000 dollars for Bronx Arts’ after-school programs.
Highlights from the event included silent and live auctions featuring original art work by 25 Bronx Arts elementary student artists. Swizz Beatz personally auctioned several items he gathered from his celebrity friends,
including signed New York Knicks apparel, Alicia Keys VIP concert tickets with backstage access, an autographed Decoded book from Jay-Z and autographed CD sets from Beyonce.
Other highlights included celebrity red carpet arrivals and an inspirational student performance. Guests were additionally surprised with a performance by Grammy Award Winning, International Recording Artist Estelle. Swizz Beatz also graced the stage for nearly an hour and performed several of his hit songs and a few new singles he will be releasing later this year.
